That it's snowing again....aggghhhhh! Where's the sun? I wouldn't mind...but I have to drive in it. And walk in it...a couple of months after i broke my ankle....Talk about gritting your teeth, hoping you don't biff it and break the other one...lol. I am so clumsy. I now can say I've broken almost my whole left side of my body. At one time or another. And I'm still young...I used to be an athelete....Well at least I live in the day and age we do.....and not 100 years ago. Otherwise I'd be screwed...

Crazy Wolfdog

My daughter and this crazy funny stubborn animal...I swear. Every night they run around the house...screamimg, howling crazy playing. Tonight Coco was playing catch with herself throwing the ball against the wall and catching it. Then she would drop it on the ground wait for my daughter to go for it...out smart my daughter and grab the ball. This was a a game they played for about a half an hour. And most of the time the dog would win. Crazy family.....

All is all right in Terra land...lol. Pain brought out the nasty-ness in me. Had a loving talk with my loved ones...and everything is good. And not in nearly as much pain as I was. I went back to the doctor today and they cut off the bandage after my surgery. Talk about gross. Really swollen, Blood bruises everywhere. I know to much info. And they took X-rays first....and doctor came in and said everything looks good so far. And he said he wasnt taking out staples for another2 weeks. Kind of bumbed about that. I wanted to be all healed...like yesterday. Lol. And he put on a cast that will last for two weeks and then that will be taken off, staples out and then another cast or boot. I asked a million questions, sure he was sick of me. Also asked when I'll be back to work hopefully. Like he has a crystal ball and can tell me the exact date and give me all the answers...lol...I wish. But he said if all goes well, I'll be back to work the beginning to the middle of January. I'm so ready now. I hate this....the pain, surgery...medical bills....My leg up all day so it doesnt swell. Im just going to do everything Im suppost to so ...hopefully everything goes well. My doctor laughed at me when I asked about Vitamin C ....if it would help the healing. And he said everyone heals differently...and there's not a magic pill or drug that will speed everything up. God how I wish. I for the next two weeks its foot up in the air. My husband is still going to Az. So of course he asked my doctor( I don't want to go)...about me going. Because they cant leave me in the house by myself...three leveled house. And they doctor said Id have to be in the back of the car with my foot up in the air. My daughter and husband in the front...and my wolfdog in the very back...it's going to be crazy. So Ill have to stay on my moms couch all week with my foot up above my heart. At least I guess i will be able to see my mom. She has had a few strokes last and this year and brain surgery this year. So I always wonder how long she may have....So that is a blessing. ANd my dad died last year of pancreatic cancer. So Im totally over all this shit. Anywho....wish me luck in healing...

Halloween Candie

My poor daughter....There's not any food in the house...since I went grocery shopping before I broke my leg. My husband was like...I can give you money for a pizza. AGHHh...only guys eat pizza 24/7. And Im suppost to get that pizza up and down the stairs how? He works for a big grocery chain. He can bring home some fruit or something healthy, on a daily basis...or Hell go grocery shopping for once. He goes out and eats everyday. The man refuses to take a lunch...EVER. And he wont buy stuff cheap at the stores he works at...NO...he goes....OUT to eat. While we scramble to find food...God I cant wait till I can walk...Need to figure out something for my daughter to eat...or that she can make heself when she gets home...Lunch time...lets see what there is..besides P&J. Think I've eatten half of my daughters candy for Halloween....shame on me...

What would be good about me going? Not much. Stuck in a little car with my leg crammed on the dash or down. And what about my wolfdog. SHe is the size of a small horse...her crammed in the back seat with my daughter....yeah right. And what if something happened to me...and so far away from my doctor.or hobbling form peoples house to house. Does..NOT sound like fun to me... Sounds like alot of pain and torture... Yes would be great to see my family. Since my dad died last year...mom had a few strokes and brain surgery....Oh YEAH...been like that the last couple of years....and I'm just DONE. I just want to crawl in my little hole and coocoon myself in for a while, lick my wounds and heal. So most likely I will stay....I hope so....or I'll end up making everyone miserable...I just need to get better.

I'm so glad!! Tomorrow I can get a waterproof cast cover at my appt! Yay!!!!Their $40! That is the crazy part. But I'll be able to take a normal shower!!!

I'm tellin' you...all I want to do is GET BETTER quickly...and go back to work. My doctor's appt for a cast or boot or whatever is tomorrow. And It should have been on Tuesday..but Husband couldn't take me then. Because of his work schedule.

I am totally crawling out off my skin. My operation was last thursday on my leg. And I want to see it, find out more about it....and this wrap on my leg is starting to get loose, which is painfull. Because I now have metal attached to my bone...with screws..And the bruises I have...looks like I went through a war. At least the part I can see. The back of my knee...where it creases is a solid black line....its a bruise. They went in the back of my knee and put a nerve block in, below my knee and down. To help me with the pain for 24 hrs...and I'm sure so maybe I wouldnt feel it during surgery. Because for about four or five nights after the surgery...(and before)I would move or my leg would jerk in sleep..and I would wake up crying and yelling. I can feel it in there. And the staples they put in are itching so bad...rubbing against the wrap now that its kind of loose.

Oh God...and to take a decent shower....that would be Heaven. I feel totally gross.

My husband and daughter were scheduled to go to Arizona next week for thanksgiving, while I worked. My husband have been throwing a fit and saying he is going to Arizona anyways...that I could go with them or stay at home.

For one...I have no food here. And what if I feel? What if my crutches got snagged somewhere in the street...while trying to get my own groceries...and I feel. I wouldnt have anyone to call to help me. No family in Colorado. And I would be stuck upstairs, unless I scooted my butt up and down the two flights of stairs. UM NO.

And my wolfdog...how am I suppost to really take care of her? I guess I could drop her food in a big bowl on the floor.

Cant really carry stuff while on crutches. Like soup or food. I have been sliding the food from counter to counter..to nuke it and stuff. And I have a chair where I sit and eat in the kitchen. Husband yelled about that. I told him to leave it, somewhere in the kitchen where I can sit and eat or wait for the stuff being cooked.

I wonder if I can find cast bags for the shower somewhere on the net...if not..someone should invent them. Dont think freezer bags would be big anough..

I stopped taking my pain meds about a day ago..they where making me sick, and the pain is much...much lower now. Before it was beyond comperhention.

I remember coming out of my surgery and the doctor said that they had to put a longer plate in because the break was longer than they thought. So Im dying to see how long the cut was. I went under about 3:00pm and came to around 5:45. They said it would take about 40 minutes...But maybe most of it was recovery time. Id also like to see a new xray of the plate in my leg. Hopefully thats something that he'll do, or i'll ask for one....So tomorrow at 11!! Wish me luck...cause I need a hole heap full...lol.

Did a few years ago. It was a Waterhouse study. I had a hard time selling it...until I made a story to go along with it. Then it sold right away..lol. I said it looked like Bella...going down the stairs...with the windows to the forest to the right...Now reflecting on the trailers that are coming out. It does kind of look like what I was thinking of...;)

Finally had some time to cut the frame tonight. This was my first attemp ever to cut a really old, solid wood frame. Took me three hours.....agghhhh. And still not nearly done with it. Man....sometimes creating art takes forever...
